Our Local Food and Wellness Movements are where local vendors who fit into the mission statement of the Committee can showcase their skills, products, knowledge, and more. Stay tuned for details about our future movements.

Plans are under way for the 2017 Local Food and Wellness Movement! What can you expect to find this year?

  • Hayrides – hayrides will be given throughout the day.
  • Workshops – expect to learn about canning, fermentation, and kombucha making! Stay tuned for times and details.
  • Food for the Soul – enjoy gourmet hot coffee, tea, or homemade hot chocolate with milk from Lone Oak Farm. There will also be fresh made soup, zucchini bread, and gluten-free options.
  • Local vendors – stay tuned for updates as we continue to add vendors to the list!
  • Cowpie 5 Race! – choose from either a kid-friendly 3/4 mile race with 5 obstacles, or an adult-friendly 5K Fun Run. Both races include the same obstacles. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration starts at 10:15am; race at 11:00am. 5K RACERSwill start at the beginning of the line. 
              • 3/4 MILE RACE – $20 Family rate up to 5 family members. $5 for each additional person over 5 people.

  • Thistle Lane Cooler Bags – pick up an insulated cooler bag for safely transporting your Thistle Lane Farm free-range eggs home OR as a reusable bag for your hot/cold groceries! Only $15 here.

Please park across the street at Chestnut Grove Church as there will be NO parking available at the farm! Vendors may unload at the farm between 9:30am and 10:00am, but then must park at the church as well. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND LEAVE THE PARKING LOT IN THE SAME CONDITION YOU FOUND IT. Thank you!
